Request account deletion

This page explains how to delete your iAm Player account (an app published by Steeven Danieau) and the data linked to it, or only part of that data.
Warning: deleting your account is permanent. Your account and its data (profiles, sources, favourites, history, settings) are erased from our servers and cannot be recovered.
Subscription: deleting your account does not cancel a subscription taken out on Google Play. Cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions), or it will keep being charged.
Option 1: in the app (recommended)
- Open iAm Player and sign in with the account to delete.
- Go to Settings › Account.
- Choose Delete my account, then confirm.
Your account and its data are erased from our servers at once, and the app also erases the data stored on the device.
Option 2: by email or on Discord
If you no longer have access to the app, ask for the deletion:
➡️ By email: write to support@iamplayer.app from the address linked to your iAm Player account, saying that you want your account and its data deleted.
➡️ On Discord: join our official server and open a support ticket.
Your request is handled within 7 days.
What is deleted, what is kept
- Deleted at once: your account (email address, password, Google ID), your sessions, your profiles and their PINs, your sources with their credentials and the imported catalogue, your favourites, your history, your playback positions, your settings and your reminders.
- Purchase history: kept for 10 years, the legal retention period of accounting records. RevenueCat, our subscription provider, also keeps the history linked to your account ID: we ask for its deletion if you write to us.
- Server logs: 90 days at most.
- Database backups: until they are renewed (the five most recent are kept).
- Analytics and crash reports (Firebase): not linked to your account, erased after 14 months at most for analytics and 90 days for crashes.
Deleting only part of your data
- A source: in “Manage sources”, choose Delete. Its link and credentials are erased from our servers.
- A favourite or your history: remove the title from “My list”, or clear the history, in the app.
- Other data: write to support@iamplayer.app saying which.
